SplitPIX Diversity Rack Video Receiver

DTC now offers dual band receivers with diversity. The SplitPIX rack mount receiver uses a total of four receivers operating in pairs of two like the DTC MiniPIX™. You can select either high band or low band operation. The system then votes on which of the two receivers in that band has the best video. Voting occurs during the horizontal retrace, at over 15,000 times per second.

Frequencies across each band are user selectable via the tuning knob on the front panel. You may preset four channels in the high band, and four channels in the low band. For instance, you may select four preset channels from 1750-1850 MHz, and another four preset channels in the 2400-2500 MHz band. This simplifies operation, while giving you the flexibility of selecting channels anywhere across your bands. The frequency is conveniently displayed on the front panel as well. Connections for four antenna inputs are on the rear of the unit.
