Palladium II Digital Video RX
The Palladium Pd2-RX-XX integrates all the electronics
required for RF reception, MPEG 2 or 4 decoding,
COFDM demodulation and down converters into one
small, aluminum housing. All connections
are from the front panel. An optional video over
IP interface module
with Ethernet connection is available which mounts
directly to the receiver. It is an ideal stand
alone system for the reception of digital
video in many applications.
The front panel of the unit provides two RSSI
indicators, one for
each antenna/receiver chain. Eight preset channel
configurations
may be selected. A six pin Hirose connector is
used for
programming and power input. SMA connectors are
used for the
two antenna connections. A BNC connector is used
for the standard
video output and there are two audio output
connectors.
Palladium receivers feature an on-screen display
of current settings,
performance parameters, and spectrum analysis
as a video overlay
that may be engaged or disengaged by the operator.
